Have issues with the Phaetus Rapido Hotend Oozing large blops of filament.
Causing issues as head shifts print.
Orbitor 2 setup with 100mm test.
Qidi Cura used.
Any advice on what to change

It maybe out of alignment as hard to push filament into and passed first section.
It maybe that.
Will loosen the Orbitor 2 and see if its alignment.
That maybe causing the moire

I do have v2.31on this machine now.
Its odd as it seems to work randomly?
It just does not seem to run the motor .
It ejects Ok but feeding will sometimes not feed when changing filament.

OK now Im finding that i cannot load fillament.
Motor in reverse?
Is this a wiring issue?
Could this be why the print has been with moire pattern?

Its on all verticle surfaces.
Straight and curved.
Also have some under extrusion on top layers.
The Xplus is printing better than original setup but would like to clear these issues up.
I will test out a lower temp.
Plus test out a Prusaslicer version

Yep will stick with the default.
I did have a strange reaction using Cura 5.2 and motors started to vibrate when printing hence me back to Qidiprint.
Would like to try out Prusaslicer but not yet started.

Have silicon socks, 210 degrees, fan on.
Temp fluctuating from 200 to 220 .
I have the current Qiditech firmware.
Now that I change back to old PID settings the temp is stable.
Looks like your correct in that Qidi changed caculations of PID.

I'm using the standard PLA print settings for the Qidiprint software only change is 210 degrees and grid support.
Using ESUN PLA+

Just updated my Xplus with Olafs Icarus Orbitor 2 Dragon standard flow setup and printing really nice but have a moire pattern showing on exterior walls.
Would this be helped by adding a TL smoother circuit on the Orbitor 2 extruder?
Any advice would be gratefully accepted

I have a Xplus with Olafs new Icarus Orbitor 2 Dragon standard flow .
updated to new Qidi firmware and now after PID setup temp is floating +- 10 degrees?
I've since put back my original PID from Qidi stock and it's settled to a +-1 degree.
Heres my PID setting if any help for others.
