ZitatAnother cut at US electric vehicle range requirements and usage patterns; fully-charged LEAF could handle 83-95% of all driving days
I think this is valid for most of us and most of the EVs. In daily life we typically do not need range more than 60km. Which def. does not mean that we do not need charging station across the country or at least within urban areas + along the motorways.
But also very clear to be able to replace all combustion engine vehicles the range/capacity of batteries must increase - currently really a matter of price, weight and needed space.
